The award-winning ceramics are on show in digital exhibition GradEX20

Hundreds of visitors usually attend the annual Art and Design Degree Show at Staffordshire University’s Stoke-on-Trent campus but this year friends, family, employers and the public can enjoy the showcase from the comfort of their own homes.
The online DigitalGradEX20 exhibition features final year projects from more than 450 students and features a range of creative degrees including Fine Art, Cartoon and Comic Arts and Animation.
BA (Hons) 3D Designer Maker student Amy Jackson has won the seal of approval from Great Pottery Throw Down star Keith Brymer Jones. She has won the famous potter’s Award for Outstanding Young Designer 2020 as well as the Potclays National Award 2020.
The 28-year-old from Wolstanton said: “It feels absolutely amazing, I’m still smiling about it now! I’ve worked really hard throughout my degree and to get this recognition from Keith Brymer Jones means so much to me. I am truly grateful!”
Her Final Collection of ceramics replicates natural landscapes and the potter is now looking for studio space continue her work. Amy added: “I will really miss not being able to exhibit my work in person this year, however I think the digital format of GradEX20 offers the opportunity for my work to reach more people than ever.”

The online exhibition also features the work of students from Computing, Digital Technologies, Engineering, Policing and Science courses.
