Computing

We offer a wide range of computing courses, including computer science, software engineering, and cyber security. Our computing students have the opportunity to earn widely respected IBM badges, Microsoft certifications, and specialised accreditations in XRY, Encase, and OFFSEC. These qualifications will set our students apart in the competitive tech landscape and give them a significant advantage in the job market.

We are the current holders of the AWS (Amazon Web Services) Challenge Cup, where students were recognised for their participation in AWS certifications.

We are the No.1 Institution in the UK for Games Development according to the Rookies 2023 Rankings, and we are also holders of multiple TIGA industry awards.

We are the first university in the UK to be accredited as an Unreal Authorised Training Centre, and our games students benefit from direct access to Unreal Engine, the world's leading game engine. We are also a Houdini-certified school, giving our students the opportunity to learn one of the most advanced 3D creation tools available.
