Your eligibility for funding may be affected if you've previously studied a higher education course, even if only partially.
- Previous Study - If you’ve taken undergraduate-level courses (Level 4 or 5) before, even without completing them, you may not receive full funding, meaning you might need to cover some or all fees yourself.
- Equivalent and Lower Qualifications (ELQ) - If your new course is at the same or lower level as a qualification you already hold, you may not qualify for tuition or maintenance loans.
Exceptions apply for nursing, midwifery, and allied health profession courses, which are eligible for additional UK government loans.
