“The webinars will give businesses the opportunity to find out more about University’s expertise. These are areas we can help them with and where we have secured funding for projects in advanced manufacturing and advanced materials to benefit SMEs.

A new free webinar series designed to help business adapt to innovative developments in design and manufacturing launches this week.

The #StaffsInnovation webinars are delivered by leading academics from Staffordshire University and are a forerunner to the University Innovation Enterprise Zone which launches with £5.5 investment later this year.

Marek Hornak, Head of Employer Partnerships and Enterprise, said: “The webinars will give businesses the opportunity to find out more about University’s expertise. These are areas we can help them with and where we have secured funding for projects in advanced manufacturing and advanced materials to benefit SMEs. We are confident that the Innovation Enterprise Zone will drive exciting new collaborations with employers at the same time as playing a critical part in the region’s recovery from COVID-19.”
