#SecretStaffs uncovers hidden gems on campus

We’re not just here for final degree projects or your hand-in for that semester, if you want to print any Christmas presents or wedding invitations then we can help you out!

Ben Warburton, Technical Instructor

The #SecretStaffs campaign showcases hidden gems on campus and this time we look at what the recently established Print Bureau has to offer.

Open to students, staff and the public, the in-house facility provides a range of high-quality printing options including inkjet printing, fabric printing and a vinyl cutting service.

Technical Instructor Ben Warburton, who runs the Print Bureau, explained: “What we’ve done is taken a lot of the small printing services from around the university and centralised them into one hub. That allows a greater use of the facilities by more students.

“The printing that we do is really high standard and very much focussed on image quality. The inkjet printers use a huge range of inks that produce photo quality images that are designed to last up to a hundred years.”

The bureau prints A1 and A2 sheets as well as custom length banner, offering a range of papers and finishes.

Ben said: “The majority of what we print is for the various creative courses but we also find that we are printing for the Sciences – their academics posters all come from here.

“But we’re not just here for final degree projects or your hand-in for that semester, if you want to print any Christmas presents or wedding invitations then we can help you out!”

The Print Bureau is open Monday - Friday and is located in H023/24, Henrion Building, Staffordshire University, College Rd., ST4 2DE. For more information please contact digitalprints@staffs.ac.uk or follow @ThePrintBureau on Instagram
