With an accelerated degree you'll benefit from our University experience, quality facilities and industry connections. But, unlike a traditional three-year degree, you'll graduate in two years with the same degree. You can be in work or further study quicker and save money on fees.

How it works
You'll learn on campus with other students during the university year. In summer, you'll need to remain motivated to do some additional work. This will mostly involve working from home through our flexible learning and support programme.
With this flexible option, you can also take a placement. This would be done before your final summer teaching semester.

Change of plan
It’s possible to transfer from a two-year accelerated degree to a three-year degree. If you fail a module in the first year (which requires a resit) you'll transfer to the three-year route. This is to ensure you can focus on passing the resit and get the best degree classification possible.
Support
You’ll get academic support from tutors throughout your degree, plus, you'll have access to our library and IT facilities on campus. You'll also have access to our wider student support services including, health and wellbeing, student inclusion, careers, and money guidance.
How do I apply?
You’ll need to apply through UCAS. This will be followed up with an informal chat (face-to-face, telephone or video call) to discuss your suitability for the degree.
International students
International students can apply for any of our two-year accelerated degrees. You'll get dedicated support from our international support and experience team to help you through each step of your learning journey, from pre-arrival to graduation. Fees and Finance
You can use a normal tuition fee loan to cover our two-year accelerated degrees.
