I have a background in teaching and learning. Initially, I started working for a Work-based Training Provider in the private sector delivering Apprenticeships in Hospitality, Management and Business Administration from levels 2 to 5, as well as delivering Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT to Level 2.
I then progressed into support and training for the other Regional Trainers in the company and had a short time as a Training Manager to cover maternity leave.
Prior to joining Staffordshire University, I worked in the Organisational Development Team at the University of Wolverhampton delivering all the staff training in management, customer service and communication as well as supporting with any other developmental needs. I was also responsible for designing and delivering their Apprenticeship Development Days.
