John McNamara is an IBM Master Inventor holding patents across fields ranging from security, to transport, and A.I. John is also an IBM Thought Leader Technical Specialist, and Open Group Distinguished Technical Specialist with experience across industries such as defence, banking, pharmaceutical and disease control.
Most recently John now also leads IBM UK University Programs, collaborating on the creation of Tech for Good using technologies such as Cloud and Watson, and is an Advanced Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield an Honorary Professor at UCL and Sheffield Hallam University.
