Oliver Rippon

Lecturer

Digital, Tech, Innovation & Business

I’m a Games Design lecturer with a focus in Technical Design; I like to branch into as many pieces of software and tech as possible to have a wide net of knowledge across as many disciplines as I can. This has led to me developing a number of games in an independent environment and working freelance on projects with other independent studios.

Most of my experience is based in Unreal Engine and Unity, prototyping gameplay systems and creating smaller games to try out specific mechanics. While I’ve been using these programs from a relatively young age, graduating from Staffs helped improve my knowledge and skill base significantly.
