Baljinder Kuller is the Founder and Managing Director of The Supply Register, a technology-enabled education staffing business transforming how schools, academies and colleges access supply staff. He brings over 15 years of HR consulting and workforce management experience across the public sector and leading recruitment process outsourcing firms.
Since launching The Supply Register in 2016, Baljinder has grown the company which now is now partnering with more than 1,000 schools and colleges nationwide. Under his leadership, the business has become a trusted partner to Trusts, colleges, NASUWT – The Teachers’ Union and The National College, while pioneering the use of proprietary technology to improve efficiency, compliance and cost savings in education recruitment. Passionate about tech-enablement of services, Baljinder ensures that innovation enhances, rather than replaces, high-quality service.
Before establishing The Supply Register, Baljinder was Head of Education for Geometric Results Inc. (GRI), the UK’s leading workforce management provider. He joined GRI from One Education, a wholly owned subsidiary of Manchester City Council, where he launched and grew its recruitment services. Earlier in his career, he was Special Educational Needs Development Manager at Capita Education Resourcing (CER), where his work led to a Non-Executive appointment at Edge Hill University’s Faculty of Education. He also held roles at Randstad, where his customer-focused approach earned multiple awards and at Stoke-on-Trent City Council, supporting Early Years and SEN advisers and Early Career Teachers.
Since 2016, Baljinder has successfully closed multiple investment rounds, most recently with Future Planet Capital, scaling The Supply Register to over £20m in annual sales and a team of more than 100 employees across Staffordshire, the UK and India.
He is passionate about education, social mobility and levelling up opportunities for disadvantaged young people. Baljinder lives in Barlaston, Staffordshire, with his wife and two young daughters and enjoys family life, travel, keeping fit and following Manchester United at Old Trafford.
