About this course

On this innovative degree, you’ll learn how to analyse performance data, interpret insights, and apply them to improve training, tactics, and strategy. You’ll explore the interdisciplinary nature of performance analysis, combining coaching, biomechanics, and sport science to enhance athlete development and team success.

You’ll gain practical experience using the latest performance analysis technologies in our state-of-the-art Science Centre, and our new Performance Analysis Suite in our Sports Centre. Alongside your studies, you can complete Hudl Academy qualifications and become a certified Sportscode user, giving you a competitive edge in the industry.

Work-based learning is at the heart of this course. You’ll have opportunities for placements and internships with professional clubs and organisations, developing your skills in real-world settings. Our teaching and assessments are designed to reflect the professional practice of performance analysts preparing you for roles across sport, health, and performance sectors.
