Mental health resources

If you need support with your mental wellbeing, here are some resources and links where you can find more information about how you can take care of your mental health.

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. If you feel you need extra support, please speak to a GP, or reach out to our Student Helpdesk. It can be difficult to talk to people when you’re having difficulties with your mental health. Doc Ready  helps you get ready for the first time you visit a doctor to discuss your mental health.

Helpguide is an international non-profit organisation which provides online self-help and information for mental, emotional and social wellness.

Mental health charity Mind  and Be Mindful have published  resources to enable more people to access the benefits of mindfulness.

If you are concerned about bullying and harassment, useful information can be found on the Staffordshire University current students portal.
