Bradley Austin - Games Provision Manager

Bradley is currently studying for a PhD in Digital Design to add to his degrees in Computer Gameplay Design and Production and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. He has worked for a string of games design studios and tech businesses including Glu, MADEC and Kairos Games. He also has extensive teaching experience having worked at South Thames College and the Stoke campus at Staffordshire University before joining the London team. He is passionate about all forms of tech but particularly mini-drone racing in his spare time.

Matt Huxley - Esports Course Provision Manager 

Matt has been in Esports for the last 16 years, beginning as a Counter-Strike Player and working freelance before moving on to Formula E as an Esports Manager in 2016. He led a team that put together trackside sim racing events in 15 countries and the $1million Visa Vegas Erace. In 2017 he took a role with Gfinity as Esport Manager managing events from F1 Esports to FIFA LQE & Majors. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Goldsmiths University and is passionate about professionalising the Esport industry.

Dr Vahid Heydari - Cyber Security Course Leader

Vahid has a PhD from the University of Surrey in Network Security completed in 2015. He also holds degrees in Computer Software Engineering (BSc) & Internet Computing (MSc). During his career he has taught on the Communication Networks & Cybersecurity and been a research assistant in 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC) at Surrey. His previous research collaborations, funded research projects and published papers that reflect his findings can be found in high-profile publications like Elsevier, IEEE & ZTE. He joined Staffordshire University to teach at Stoke campus in 2015, and later came to our London campus in September 2020. His greatest loves are reading & learning violin and Jitsu!

Danny Flint​ - Games Lecturer

Danny has been teaching Games Design for over 10 years. After completing his BSc (Hons) in Media Technology and Production, he spent many years working in Web and Graphic Design, before returning to University to study his passion; Games Design.

He achieved his MA in Games Design in 2010 and started teaching the subject himself shortly after. He has designed, developed and released a number of mobile games and 3D demos under his own studio, Bleep Games. He is passionate about teaching and learning using emerging technologies such as AR and VR, and working with cutting edge procedural software such as Houdini. ​
